How to format external HDD in FAT32 for your TF7100HDPVRt.
By admin | June 29, 2010
This is a video that shows you how to format an external hard drive on your PC first before plugging it into your topfield 7100. You will need to create a small 32 gig fat32 partition, with the remainder left blank. Then unplug external hard drive from your PC and plug into Topfield unit with a USB cable. Then on your topfield remote press MENU/INSTALLATION/FORMAT EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE, to have the topfield format it once before you can begin transfering files to it. Note your external hard drive must not go over 1 Terrabyte (1000gig) in size and have its own powersupply.
