thanks for your reply I really appreciate it.
But after 2 days a noticed a little kind of clicking sound of the hard drive I believe
i noticed it after being alone and in quiet places when nobody was home
the weird thing is that it always starts to happen like 2 hours after I turned it on and always while SURFING the web
that’s what i mostly use it for. I recorded a video, can you check it out on my channel please, I just added it? (I was not browsing through folders or files)…

heyy aindri….
yes that was the morning i voted…. its interesting it got captured in the shot footages too and thus became a documented record – and u noticed it too in the video….great….haha..
i do intend to exercise the right to vote always..

…continuing…
i guess they have improved a lot in the stability parts of their hardware….and since the drive in ur machine was changed and if it is not from the apple stock (if it is from the apple stock it would have an apple logo on the drive sticker) it would not be covered by apple anyway….but this is just for the drive then…all the other parts are still covered by apple….. most seagate drives i’ve come accross n i have bought n used have been super reliable….

seagate drives are pretty reliable…. the 500GB drive (shown in the video here) i now a year old and is running…. in fact u can put up any laptop 2.5″ drive in the macbooks n macbook pro….. the first initial seagate drive that shipped with my macbook pro did crash and i received a free replacement from apple (this was around july 2007)…but after then all the seagate drives i ever had have been working completely smooth….

hi, i just bought a macbook pro off of ebay, and it seems like the guy upgraded it from 320gb (apple now uses hitachi) to 500gb seagate hard drive, do u have any experience with seagate? are they reliable? im afraid it could fail and apple wont cover it

haha….the masking tape was super convenient to keep things organized n be more informative for the video…..
haha…yes… da cable from the keyboard did snap off while opening the top plate for the first time…wasn’t a trouble though since its a nice simple snap on attachment n easy to disconnect n connect..

nice job with the masking tape idea. Looked in fast speed like you snapped the cable from the keyboard.

wow what a nightmare! I have the same model not looking forward to doing that… Good tip using the masking tape for the screws though! Good soundtrack.
